How ReadSteed Works
Three simple steps to unlock your reading potential.
1. Import Your Text
Paste any article, essay, or block of text directly into the ReadSteed input area. Alternatively, upload a `.txt` file from your device. ReadSteed automatically calculates the word count and estimated reading time.
2. Dial In Your Speed
Use the WPM (Words Per Minute) slider or your keyboard arrows to set your desired pace. The average reader sits at 250 WPM, but with ReadSteed, you can comfortably push to 400+ WPM without losing comprehension.
3. Enter the Flow State
Hit play. ReadSteed uses the Optimal Recognition Point (ORP) to center every word dynamically, highlighting the focus character in red. Stare at the red character and let the words flow into your mind.
